But jokes aside , I wish I dont jinx either of them , I hope they go on to become great players and legends by themselves.

Though it might be a little bit of an exaggeration, it sounded real good and how we want it to be true ! Imagine if there were no serious injuries.....
Bill walton is a nut case. I dont think you can take anything he says seriously. How can you compare Lebron (SG, SF ) to Karl Malone who plays a totally different position and was one of the best in it..
Awrite , First off , I do agree that Walton is off base a lot.
Secondly I dont believe he compared players according to their position. He compared them to their stature.I am not sure if you watch CAVS games , but if you do , You will know that Lebron slides from 1 through 4 on the floor. You really cannot closet him in one position.
Lebron has the passing abilities of a 1 , scoring of a 2 and 3 and the ruggedness,post up moves like a 4.
All said and done , I think this comment was more funny than insightful.

Not related to this comment at all...I think bill walton as a commentator sucks when it comes to giving the viewer useful information and generalizes a lot. He's very old fashioned and does very little to understand the newer developments in the game.
For ex: He still believes that grant hill will be the key contributor in Oralndo, where as the other informed people, know that his role has been downgraded to a veteran player who when healthy can be a bonus contribution. 10 yrs from now, Bill walton will still believe that Grant Hill's performance will be critical to Orlando's success.
I agree abt as a joke part but for all you know Bill walton meant it seriously :)
